Not just a tank driving experience but a full on military day out including learning SAS skills, musket firing and of course the chance to drive at least four different military vehicles. If ever there was a ‘military experience’ this is it! A wide range of military vehicles are used including the FV432 troop carrier with its classic lever steering system as well as the 17 ton Abbott tank which is still used by several armies around the world today. Alongside learning to manoeuvre these classic military vehicles over challenging terrain you will also be given the opportunity to learn how to fire a musket as well as a 17th century mortar! And if that wasn’t enough you will be briefed on the latest anti-terrorism tactics before entering the woodland on an SAS-style patrol. All in all an awesome military full day experience which culminates in the crushing of a saloon car with Britain’s most famous and longest-serving main battle tank: the 50 ton Chieftain.
